Hodder Avenue Homicide Investigation: 29-Year-Old Died

Thunder Bay – NEWS – The Thunder Bay Police Service are investigating the incident in the 400 block of Hodder Avenue that happened on Monday, May 2nd as a homicide.

Officers with the Uniform Patrol Branch were originally dispatched to a home in the 400 block of Hodder Avenue at about 11:30 PM EDT on Monday, May 2 following reports of a disturbance.

When police arrived, they learned an adult male had suffered apparent injuries following an apparent assault.

The Thunder Bay Police Service Major Crimes and Forensic Identification Units became involved in the investigation. As a result of continued investigation, police are now investigating the incident as a homicide.

Paramedics with the Superior North EMS were also dispatched to the scene. Despite life-saving efforts, the victim died from their injuries.

The victim has been identified as 29-year-old Thunder Bay man. His name is being withheld at this time.

A post-mortem examination took place in Thunder Bay on Wednesday, May 4.

The investigation remains ongoing.
