Thunder Bay – POLITICS – Candidates for this fall’s civic election in Thunder Bay can start filing their papers with City Hall today.
Lori Paras in the Mckellar Ward has her nomination in as of earlier today. Incumbent Brian Hamilton is the current ward Councillor.
The Northwood Ward appears to be off and running with a real horse race. Dominic Pasqualino, Bill Dell, and Chris “Krumps” Krumpholz all have filed their nomination papers. Shelby Ch’ng is the incumbent in Northwood.
The City Election site will be updated daily (Monday to Friday) at 3:00 PM.
Once nomination papers are filed, the nominations are not officially candidates until the City Clerk has certified their nomination.
