THUNDER BAY – COVID-19 Update – There has been the 89th death from COVID-19 reported by the Thunder Bay District Health Unit.

There were 111 new lab-confirmed cases of the virus reported today. This brings the active lab-confirmed case number to 239 in the district.

There are twenty-two patients admitted to hospital with three in the intensive care units.

On April 27, 2022 the waste water Viral Signal in Thunder Bay District spiked. This is a signal of testing done at the Thunder Bay sewage treatment plant.

Currently there are 11 outbreaks in the district.
