SIOUX LOOKOUT – NEWS – A overdue aircraft was located by searchers on Saturday. Details are still coming in on this crash that claimed the lives of four people who were on the plane.
The Joint Rescue Coordination Centre-Trenton, Civil Air Search and Rescue Association and the Minister of Natural Resources responded on Saturday to reports of an overdue aircraft.
The Sioux Lookout OPP were notified on Saturday at about 7:45 am.
The wreckage of the aircraft was located between Ignace and Sioux Lookout in the Kukukus Lake area.
All four occupants of the plane were pronounced deceased.
The Transportation Safety Board has been notified.
