Rainfall Warnings are in effect for Thunder Bay, Superior West, Kenora, Red Lake and Fort Frances.
This third Colorado low in as many weeks will continue to bring significant rainfall to portions of northwestern Ontario. Rain will taper off to light showers Sunday morning and end Sunday evening.
The frozen ground has little ability to absorb the rain. In Thunder Bay, the Lakehead Region Conservation Authority had a Flood Watch in effect. In the Intercity area of the city there are already ditches that are filled to capacity.
