Rek Banga is unapologetically solidifying his place in Hip Hop.
Hip Hop Rockstar, Rek Banga is ascending to Hip Hop greatness and making his presence known as his name is prominently resonating throughout Hollywood. His lengthy signature red locs and deep raspy voice sets him apart from his peers in the industry, giving way to a new local seniority that many others are sure to emulate.
With a bevy of hits, like “City of Bompton”, he’s dropping keys on the protocols of visiting the legendary city of Compton, California. “Don’t be an opp, and always remain consistent, or the consequences will be unpleasant for the violator”.
The record also pays homage to the classic Hip Hop album, “Nuthin’ But A G Thang” using undertones of the reminiscent production created by iconic producer, Dr Dre. The track features label mate, “Almighty Breskii” who borrows from Snoop Dogg’s, 1,2,3,4 – lyric opener, but continues with an original flow.
Recently, to add to his successful run, his new album, “Banganattii” soared up the iTunes Hip Hop / Rap chart to Top 10 landing at number 9.
The New Jersey native continues to set trends by continually thinking and performing outside of what all other artists are doing, setting him on a path of success and longevity. Rek’s latest singles, “Spaghetti” and “Gimme Licky feat. Coi Leray, are hits with Rek Banga’s loyal fans and is ushering in a new audience that can’t seem to get enough of him.
