After a life affirming trip to Key West and Ft Lauderdale, Tarry decided he wanted a life with more freedom. The job he had was a time sucker. He worked 14-16 hours a day, and he knew it was no longer the life for him. He wanted the ability to make choices based on time, not money. So, Tarry started buying properties to make this dream a reality. With no money and no experience, he had to figure out how to come up with money to make deals in an industry he knew nothing about. As he worked full time, he scoured Amazon for books. He picked up everything he could to learn what he needed to propel himself forward. “You have to literally make something out of nothing, stay positive, get shit on and smile at the same time…Real Estate was one business that I could get into I knew that would for sure make me rich. It’s tried, true and proven,” he says.
Tarry believes fear falls on a spectrum. It’s never black & white, and everyone has their own personal reaction to it. Life’s unknowns carry both risk and thrill, causing some to thrive and others to crumble. Everyone needs to feel safe. Security keeps us grounded and reduces paranoia. But fear itself isn’t a bad thing. It can keep you on your toes and keep you honest. By educating yourself, you can prevent fear from crippling you. This is where Tarry shines. He has helped countless people pull the trigger on their dreams. By giving them direction and advice, they know exactly what steps to take to become successful. Then, it’s up to them to give it their all to reach their potential while enjoying every step of the way.
From the get-go, Tarry learned that the most important thing for anyone is to keep a positive mindset in all things. You will experience stress, sleepless nights, pain, and sacrifice. If you can’t handle it, this probably isn’t the path for you. You have to be able to sell to yourself before you can sell to anyone else. In fact, when everyone else scaled back in 2020 during COVID shut downs, Tarry went all in. He found a way to work, even with restrictions in place, and spent two and a half months scooping up properties with no competition. “You don’t know where the money is gonna come from. You’ll have to commit before it happens…So you have to make sure you ‘mind-fuck’ yourself so that you stay positive,” he says.
What’s next for Tarry? His next projects include an expansion of his real estate education, social media brand, and investing in crypto.
