THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Police advise that “The large truck convoy which is headed to Ottawa has changed its route this morning. The new route will see the convoy head west from their overnight parking areas to the Highway 11/17 extension. It will then proceed east their planned route to Ottawa”.
Traffic along Arthur Street West is not expected to see any further impact this morning.
Update
The Convoy has split at Highway 11 and Highway 17. Winter storm / snow squalls along the north shore of Lake Superior have had the highway closed overnight.
The highway re-opened this afternoon.
