In today’s world of social media frenzy, influencers may seem to be dime a dozen, almost popping up overnight.

Such is not the case for Melanie Avalon, who worked towards her dreams of having a lasting impact on the world, for as long as she can remember.

During her early years, Melanie Avalon started her career by acting in community theatre in her hometown of Memphis, Tennessee. At the top of her class, she left high school early at the age of 17, to enter the early entrance program at the University of Southern California (USC), where the intelligent beauty achieved the highest GPA in the school of theatre, and won a scholarship for her paper in Gender Studies. While in college, Melanie interned for blockbuster producer Jerry Bruckheimer; former head of Nickelodeon Movies and Executive Producer at Mattel, Julia Pistor; and top producer Jim Whitaker at Disney Studios.

Although excelling in scholastics, Melanie always saw the creative entertainment medium as her true passion. Using her confidence and experiences, the actress joined the elite acting union, SAG-AFTRA. Soon after this, her health challenges lead her to the world of intermittent fasting, the “Paleo” diet, and ultimately the “biohacking” sphere. This shift in focus caused her journey in the world of health and fitness to move onto the creative horizon.

With a sparkling mind and the urge to share her findings with everyone around her, the SAG-AFTRA actress chose the platforms of podcasts and writing to provide tools, tips, and techniques that could revitalize her audience’s lives. Her enthusiasm and hard work lead to her creation of the top iTunes podcasts, The Melanie Avalon Biohacking Podcast and The Intermittent Fasting Podcast, with NYT best seller co-host Gin Stephens. Collectively, the shows have received millions of downloads, and net over 200,000 listens every week. They consistently chart as top 100 Health podcasts in iTunes, even reaching the top 20s.

Melanie further enhanced her journey by signing with top literary agent Celeste Fine, and publishing What When Wine: Lose Weight and Feel Great with Paleo-Style Meals, Intermittent Fasting, and Wine (available in stores nationwide). With no end in sight for obsession to provide lasting change with implementable health benefits, Melanie next developed her top iTunes app, Food Sense Guide, to help those with food sensitivities.

As Melanie says, “I’m a teller. When something works for me, I just have to tell everyone! I’ve been so inspired to create content and products which can share all those specific findings which have revitalized my own life, with the world at large.”

Melanie’s willingness to explore and share different viewpoints from brilliant sources regarding dietary and lifestyle choices has helped her climb incredibly far, in a relatively short period of time. However, the sky has no limit. Melanie wants to further shape her career by developing her own biohacking podcast for a TV show format, tentatively called “The Melanie Avalon Biohacking Show,”

After achieving so much, the brilliant actress, podcaster, and author admits she has settled into the comprehensive title of “biohacker”.
