Thunder Bay – NEWS – Brayden Bushby was convicted of manslaughter in the death of Barbara Kentner, today the verdict in the trial will be released and Bushby will be sentenced.
This trial was divisive in Thunder Bay and drew out the divide seen by many in the justice system and how it treats Indigenous victims.
The original charge of second degree murder was downgraded to manslaughter and aggravated assault.
