TBDHU Reports 13 New COVID-19 Cases: Active Cases at 93

Thunder Bay – COVID-19 Update – Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) reports 13 new COVID-19 cases in residents in the TBDHU Region.

The total number of current active cases is 93. As of this report, 23 cases have been resolved.

One of the new cases is at the Thunder Bay Correctional Centre.

Seven cases are from close contact. Three are from no known exposure. Two cases are pending.

Ontario Update

Ontario has reported 1,072 new cases of COVID-19 today. This is an increase from the 1,022 cases reported on Tuesday.

This is the second day in a row with  less than 1,100 new cases of the virus were recorded.

41 people have, as a result of the virus died in Ontario in the past twenty-four hours. This brings the provincial death toll to 6,596.

Toronto remains the provincial hotspot but with only 393 new cases, followed by 196 in Peel Region, and 125 in York Region.
