Thunder Bay Weather Outlook

There is a Winter Travel Advisory in effect for Thunder Bay. The forecast is calling for snow. There is very light snow falling as of 07:00 am this morning. The temperature is +1, there is a risk of freezing drizzle this morning. The city of Thunder Bay is expected to receive between 5 to 10 centimetres of snow through the day. Winds will becoming northwest 30 km/h gusting to 50 late this afternoon.

Tonight, more snow, with amounts of 2 to 4 centimetres are forecast. Winds will be from the northwest 30 km/h gusting to 50. The low overnight will be -11. Wind chill -8 this evening and -20 overnight.

Road conditions, and travel conditions along Highway 11/17 east of Thunder Bay are likely to be impacted by the weather, making driving conditions treachorous.

Greenstone Geraldton Weather Outlook

There is a Weather Warning for a Winter Storm in effect for Greenstone. There is a 40 percent chance of flurries early this morning. Periods of snow are forecast to start early this morning. There is a risk of freezing drizzle this morning. Snowfall amounts of up to 5 centimetres are expected. Winds will be up to 15 km/h. The temperature will remain steady near -1. Marten Falls Weather Outlook

For tonight expect more snow and blowing snow with total amounts of up to 5 centimetres. Winds will be northwest 30 km/h gusting to 50. Low overnight will be -15. Wind chill minus 20 this evening and minus 26 overnight.
