Thunder Bay – WEATHER – There are Weather Advisories in effect for Nipigon, Rossport, Marathon, Schreiber, Wawa and Pukaskwa Park.

Heading out eastward, highway conditions are going to be impacted.

Thunder Bay Weather Update

It is -5°C in Thunder Bay at 06:00. The forecast is calling for the snow to end late this morning. The high for Sunday will be -4°C with winds gusting from 20 km/h to 40 km/h late this morning. The skies will remain cloudy with a 40 percent chance of flurries. The wind chill is -8°C this morning and will feel like -14°C this afternoon.

Tonight, skies will be clear. Wind northwest 20 km/h gusting to 40km/h before becoming light late this evening. The low overnight will be -18°C. The wind chill will be -14°C this evening and -24°C overnight.

For those out early this morning, Thunder Bay Roads Crews have not yet started to clear the snow on major roadways as of 06:00 am.

Greenstone / Geraldton Weather Outlook

It is -14°C in Geraldton this morning at 06:00. The forecast is calling for periods of snow with about 5 centimetres expected. Winds will be east 20 km/h becoming light this morning. A high of -9°C with the wind chill making it feel more like -22°C this morning and -12°C this afternoon.

Pikangikum Weather Outlook

Kenora and Lake of the Woods Outlook
