Thunder Bay – COVID-19 Update – Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) is reporting 21 (twenty-one) new COVID-19 cases in residents in the TBDHU Region. Total number of active current active cases is 143
In Thunder Bay, Southbridge Roseview remains in a confirmed COVID-19 outbreak with two new cases reported.
Of the new cases, 3 are from the Valard Construction East-West Tie Line outbreak.
One is at the Thunder Bay District Jail. 11 are from close contact with someone with the virus.
One case is from travel outside of the region. Two are from no known exposure and one is pending.
Of the new cases, 14 are in Thunder Bay and Surrounding communities. Four are in First Nation communities, and three are in district communities.
In Ginoogaming, the RSDC Wiisiniiwigamig Convenience Store will be closed tomorrow (Saturday January 23). Please make sure that if you have items you need to order, you do it today during our regular hours (2pm-6:45 pm).
The RSDC Wiisiniiwigamig Convenience Store is doing contactless curb-side pick-up and will do free delivery for the Town of Longlac and for Ginoogaming First Nation.
