Busy, Positive and Peaceful Day Starts Biden Presidency

Washington – Politics – President Joe Biden was inaugurated on Wednesday. It was a dignified swearing in, with President Biden in his Inaugural Address promising to tell Americans the truth and seeking that the bitter partisanship that culminated in the Capital Hill riot on January 6, 2021 come to an end.

‘We must end this uncivil war’, stated President Joe Biden after he was sworn in as President. In offering his message of unity and restoration to Americans who are in many views as deeply divided a country as it ever has been, which is struggling from a battered economy and the deadly COVID-19 pandemic with a death toll of over 400,000 Americans and climbing.

The President signed Executive Orders, including bringing the United States back into the Paris Climate Accord that former President Trump had pulled the U.S. out of.

“I, Joseph R. Biden Jr., President of the United States of America, having seen and considered the Paris Agreement, done at Paris on December 12, 2015, do hereby accept the said Agreement and every article and clause thereof on behalf of the United States of America.”

When the President signed the Executive Order on the Paris Climate Accord Cruz Tweeted, “By rejoining the Paris Climate Agreement, President Biden indicates he’s more interested in the views of the citizens of Paris than in the jobs of the citizens of Pittsburgh. This agreement will do little to affect the climate and will harm the livelihoods of Americans.”

One response to the Cruz Tweet from Seth Rogan with some very strong language called Cruz a fascist.

A citizen tweeted back to Cruz, “Exactly 2 weeks ago, at around this hour, Ted Cruz voted to disenfranchise every single voter of Pittsburgh (a city that went for Biden) by throwing out their state’s electoral votes.”
