Roads will be Snow-covered and Slippery

Marathon – WEATHER – Environment Canada has updated the snowfall warning for Marathon and Schreiber. The weather service says that snowfall with total amounts of 15 to 25 cm is expected by Thursday afternoon.
Lake enhanced snow will continue tonight along northern and eastern Lake Superior.
This snow combined with winds gusting up 70 km/h could result in blowing snow and considerably reduced visibilities.
Snowfall warning in effect for:
- Marathon – Schreiber
Travel may become particularly hazardous along Highway 17 between Terrace Bay and Batchawana Bay.
