COVID-19 Update

Thunder Bay – COVID-19 Update – Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) is reporting 4 (four) new COVID-19 cases in residents in the TBDHU Region.

The current number of active cases is 75.

Four of the cases reported today are from close contact.

Four are in the district communities.

There are no changes in the number of people in hospital in today’s report.

Southbridge Roseview remains in a confirmed COVID-19 outbreak with 2 active staff cases. These staff members are currently isolating and recovering at home. It is with deep sadness that we share that 23 residents have passed as a result of this virus.

Ontario Numbers

Ontario is reporting 2,578 cases of COVID-19. There are 815 new cases in Toronto, 507 in Peel, 151 in York Region, 151 in Niagara and 121 in Hamilton.
