Thunder Bay District Health Unit Reports Nine New COVID-19 Cases

Thunder Bay – COVID-19 Update – Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) is reporting 9 (nine) new COVID-19 cases in residents in the TBDHU Region.

Five of the new cases are from close contact. One case is from travel outside of the region.

Two are pending, and one is from no known exposure.

The total number of current active cases is 54.

Eight of the new cases are in the Thunder Bay Area, and one in the outlying District communities.

There are four people in hospital, and one in ICU.

Today, Ontario is reporting 3,519 new COVID-19 cases. This is the fourth day the total has been over 3000 cases.

There are 891 new cases in Toronto, 568 in Peel, 457 in York Region, 208 in Windsor-Essex County, 175 in Waterloo and 174 in Durham.
