Lindsay Graham’s Tweet Trends on Twitter

WASHINGTON – US POLITICS – The United States will make it official today. The Electoral College votes in the presidential election will be certified today. The counting follows a runoff election in Georgia which will see the Democrats take the Senate.

President-Elect Biden is expected to be confirmed by the Senate today.

President Trump has created a storm of controversy both during his term in office, but especially since last November’s election.

USA Today in an editorial says, “Since losing the November 3 election, Trump has checked out of his day job, largely ignoring the raging coronavirus and focusing instead on spreading unfounded claims of voting fraud. He has hounded the governors of Arizona and Georgia to help overturn voting results in those states; summoned Michigan lawmakers to the White House for arm-twisting to achieve the same; and, in a brazen phone call Saturday, pleaded with the Georgia secretary of state and his lawyer to “find” enough votes to flip the state in his favor.”

There has also been a battle of Tweets.

One Tweet that is trending is from Lindsay Graham from 2016.

President Donald Trump has been busy on Twitter as well.

The President is counting on Vice-President Mike Pence to overturn the results.

There are some Republicans supporting this effort by the President.

It is likely however if that happens there will be a national constitutional crisis in the United States.

It is also unlikely that the Vice President is going to set himself up as a political bad guy if he has any hopes for any future political runs at the Republican nomination.

It is also unlikely that Lindsay Graham is on the top of President Trumps friends list.
