Ontario Reports 3,266 New Cases of COVID-19

Thunder Bay – Ontario has topped 200,000 total COVID-19 cases as of January 6, 2020. Over the past six weeks there have been 100,000 cases recorded. It took six months for Ontario to hit the 100,000 case number.

Ontario reported 3,266 new cases today. That brought the number of cases recorded to 200,626.

Today’s total of 3,266 new cases marks the third straight day that case loads have been over 3000 cases.

The bulk of the cases reported today are in Toronto which reports 805 cases, Peel Region reported 523 cases, York Region reported 349 cases, Windsor-Essex County has 208 cases, and Waterloo is reporting 206 cases.
