COViD-19 Québec Sees 2.546 New Cases and 32 More Deaths

Québec – The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19 in Québec show 2,546 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 212,850, of which 181,205 have now recovered.

The data also reports 32 new deaths, for a total of 8,379.

Among these 32 deaths, 9 have occurred in the last 24 hours, 22 have occurred between December 28 and January 2, and 1 have occurred at an unknown date. The number of hospitalizations increased by 69 compared to the previous day, for a cumulative total of 1,294. Among these, the number of people in intensive care increased by 9, for a total of 188. The samples conducted on January 2 amount to 21,238 for a total of 4,991,084. Finally, 1,711 doses of vaccine were administered yesterday, for a total of 30,473.
