Kiss has kicked 2020 in the butt ending the year with a massive concert in Dubai that the iconic rockers say is a part of their farewell tour. In a year where live music faded and where COVID-19 dominated the planet, KISS brought 50 cameras, a 4k livestream broadcast and a pyrotechnical massive show, as only KISS can do.
Starchild, the Demon, the Spaceman, and the Catman brought the concert to Dubai, which is famous for its amazing New Year’s Eve celebrations.
The concert has earned a Guiness World Record™ for the highest flame projection during a music concert, and for most flame projections launched simultaneously in a music concert,
KISS shares, “Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible and everyone who tuned in live”.
KISS has been a rock band the fans, the KISS Army love, and the critics love to hate.
That is likely why the band took so long to get inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Kiss also holds the title as America’s No. 1 Gold record award-winning group of all time, having earned 30 Gold albums. Kiss has 14 Platinum albums, with three albums being multi-Platinum. On April 10, 2014, the four original members of Kiss were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
