December 15, 2020 – Thunder Bay District Health Unit Reports Nine New Confirmed COVID-19 Cases

Thunder Bay – COVID-19 Update – The Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) is reporting 9 (nine) new COVID-19 cases in residents in the TBDHU Region. There are currently 115 active cases of the virus in the District.

Eight of the cases are in Thunder Bay and surrounding communities. One case is in one of the District communities.

Five on the Thunder Bay cases are from close contact, two are pending and one is unknown.

The confirmed case of COVID-19 in the outlying District community is from Close Contact.

There has been another death at the Southbridge Roseview Care facility, bringing the total deaths in the District to 14.

The health unit reports there are no patients in hospital or intensive care.
