Two New Cases of COVID-19 Reported at Southbridge Roseview Care Home

Thunder Bay – NEWS – There are two additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported at the Southbridge Roseview care facility.

Southbridge Roseview has posted the update on their website. “A confirmed COVID-19 outbreak with 38 positive residents and 16 positive staff members. These staff members are currently isolating and recovering at home. It is with deep sadness that we share that 2 residents have passed as a result of this virus.”

“All staff are required to participate in surveillance testing as directed by the local public health unit.”

“With community spread still being a major concern, this regular testing will help us detect new positive staff or asymptomatic staff early and limit the risk of potential exposure to our residents.”
