THUNDER BAY – Santa Claus is the latest disappointment due to COVID-19 in Thunder Bay.

Intercity Mall reports, “As a precautionary measure to help contain the spread of COVID-19, we have made the difficult decision to cancel all public events including the in-person Santa experience for this Holiday season.

“While we regret having to cancel these activities, ISC is committed to the health and safety of our tenants, guests, employees, and our community.”

The list of popular public events that have been cancelled due to COVID-19 continues to grow.

The Rotary Christmas Parade, the Parade of Lights, and now Santa Clause at Intercity Mall, are added to the list of pandemic ended events.
