Thunder Bay Police Remove Another Illegal Handgun from the Streets

THUNDER BAY – NEWS – Thunder Bay Police have located and seized another handgun in connection with an investigation that led to multiple firearm seizures on Wednesday.

The Thunder Bay Police Service’s Emergency Task Unit, Intelligence Unit and Community Oriented Response Unit executed a search warrant at an apartment in the 1000-block of Victoria Avenue just before 3 PM EDT on Wednesday, September 2, 2020.
That search led to the seizure of drugs, cash, and three handguns.
On Friday, September 4, 2020, police executed a search warrant on a vehicle that was connected to this investigation.
That search led to the seizure of another handgun.
As a result, new charges are pending. The investigation remains ongoing.
