THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Fire Rescue responded to a Motor Vehicle Collision Friday evening approximately 18:50 (06:50 PM) Minor injuries reported, two Pumpers responded.

Thunder Bay Fire Rescue Responded to Structural on MacDougall Street early Saturday morning, approximately 01:30. Hot clothes were removed from the dryer in a smoldering state.

Smoke was visible in the hallway by the first arriving unit. A second alarm was initiated while the crew investigated where smoke was coming from.

The T=trouble was located in a utility room outside of the dryer and quickly dealt with.

A total of 5 Pumpers, 2 Arial Ladders, Platoon chief were dispatched to this scene.

Homeowners are reminded to empty lint trap from dryers.
