THUNDER BAY – On the 21st of August 2020 at 5:00 am officers of the Ontario Provincial Police, Thunder Bay detachment responded to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 11 west of Thunder Bay at the Kashabowie River bridge.
The lone driver struck the bridge abutments on the bridge which is currently under construction and controlled by signal lights.
The driver was transported to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Center with non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation is on-going.
