ARMSTRONG – WEATHER – Environment Canada says conditions are favourable for the development of dangerous thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts and damaging hail.
This appears to be part of a thunderstorm system currently near Savant Lake and heading east.

Severe thunderstorm watch in effect for:
- Armstrong – Auden – Wabakimi Park
Hazards: Up to toonie sized hail and damaging wind gusts near 90 km/h.
Timing: This afternoon into this evening.
Thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon over the area and persist into the evening.
There is also the potential for thunderstorms over Manitoba to move over Northwestern Ontario overnight. This watch will also be updated as the exact track and strength of these thunderstorms becomes more certain.
