Minister Greg Rickford Seeks Building Better Relationship with Thunder Bay City Council

THUNDER BAY – Premier Doug Ford’s Minister of Everything, Greg Rickford was in Thunder Bay on August 11, 2020. The Minister shares some of the ongoing efforts across the region to build capacity, twin or widen Highway 17, the Trans-Canada highway, and on working to build stronger relationships with the Mayor and Council in Thunder Bay.

“We have to remain committed to the city, and it’s importance to the region and hope we can continue to build relationships. We are connecting this province and we see Thunder Bay as a centre-piece,” adds Minister Rickford.

“We challenge and we invite, as we always do, the mayor and council out to our events”, said Minister Rickford.

Through the day yesterday, the Minister was at three announcements that enhance the local economy. The Minister met yesterday with Councillor Brian McKinnon.
