Environment Canada has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for the Superior West region.
Severe thunderstorm warning in effect for:
- Kakabeka Falls – Whitefish Lake – Arrow Lake
At 4:32 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing very strong wind gusts and up to nickel size hail.
This line of severe thunderstorms is located from 7 kilometres north of Shebandowan to Arrow Lake Provincial Park, moving east at 55 km/h.
Hazards… Peak wind gusts to 100 km/h and nickel size hail.
