THUNDER BAY – The Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences is advising that a possible COVID-19 outbreak is currently under investigation at the Hospital.
In an email to media, TBRHSC officials state, “The health and safety of patients, staff, professional staff and the community has been our utmost priority throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Precautionary measures are being implemented to protect the health and safety of all as we investigate the situation further and determine the next steps.”
There will be additional updates as this developing story unfolds. This possible outbreak is related to the report on Sunday of a man hospitalized with a positive case of the virus.
