Fort Albany – Fatal Motor Vehicle Incident under Investigation

FORT ALBANY – The Nishnawbe Aski Police and the Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a fatal motor vehicle incident.

Fort AlbanyNAPS reports that during the early hours of Saturday, May 16, 2020, the Nishnawbe Aski Police Service in Fort Albany First Nation attended the scene of a male adult pedestrian and motor vehicle incident.

Ambulance services were also called to the scene, and the victim was rushed to medical care but had succumbed to injuries.

This investigation is still ongoing and further updates will be released as they become available. Fort Albany First Nation is located approximately 525 km north of Timmins.
