TORONTO – Toronto Police have made a major drug bust seizing 61 kilograms of cocaine. Project Corredor police state was initiated in the fall of 2019, and involved the Toronto Police Service Drug Squad and was assisted by the Canada Border Services Agency.
Police at that time started their investigation into individuals who were doing major cocaine distribution in the City of Toronto.
Police have now confirmed that Project Corredor has had some significant results.
Search warrants have been executed on seven residences, six vehicles and on bank safety deposit boxes. The following seizures have been made during the course of Project Corredor:
- 61 kilograms of powder cocaine with a potential street-level value of $7.9 million
- in excess of $200,000 CDN, $14,000 USD, and 30,000 Euros alleged to be proceeds of crime
- four motor vehicles alleged to be offence-related property
- an assortment of luxury watches and jewelry alleged to be proceeds of crime
It is further alleged that:

- 20 kilos of cocaine were seized from locked safes, found in a residential apartment in the area of Yonge Street and Sheppard Avenue
- 36 kilos were located in a residential apartment in the area of Bayview Avenue and Sheppard Avenue East
- five kilos were seized from a residential house in the area of Bayview Avenue and Finch Avenue East
Charges Laid – Men Wanted
Patrick English, 39, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:
1. Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine
2. Possession of Proceeds of Crime over $5,000
David Bergman, 48, of Toronto was arrested and charged with:
1. Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine
2. Possession of Proceeds of Crime over $5,000
Ali Baek, 52, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:
1.Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine
2. Possession of Proceeds of Crime under $5,000
Toronto Police report that all the accused have all been released from custody and are scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall, on Monday, June 15, 2020, at 9 am, in room 114.
Police report that there are two men outstanding in this investigation, and warrants for their arrest have been issued:
Andrew Wilson, 47, and Alan Jones-Smith, 30, both of Toronto, are wanted for:
