THUNDER BAY – Social media has lit up today with reports on the Finlandia Association of Thunder Bay, the iconic Hoito and the Finnish Labour Hall.

The Hoito is closed right now due to COVID-19 concerns.

Postings on social media are suggesting there are financial problems and the banks are involved.

A member shared an email received from the Finlandia Association of Thunder Bay: “As a member of the Finlandia, I received an invitation to attend a Special general meeting about the voluntary wind up of The Finlandia Association of Thunder Bay. It said that all questions could be sent by email to info@thefinlandia.com”
