Firearm Incident at Rainy River Hospital Under Investigation

RAINY RIVER – On the morning of May 7, 2020, the Ontario Provincial Police responded to an incident involving a firearm at the Rainy River Hospital located at 115 Fourth Street Rainy River, Ontario.

Police say, “No one was hurt or injured in this incident and there is currently a suspect in police custody. The OPP would like to make everyone aware that there is currently no risk to public safety at this time”.

As this incident is still under investigation there is not any further information to provide but police will give an update as more information becomes available.
