Tip Line Set up to Assist in Homicide Investigation

THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Police Service has established a special tip line as the homicide investigation of 14-year-old Kayleigh IVALL continues.

The dedicated tip line can be reached at 807-684-1545.

An investigation of a sudden death began in the afternoon hours of Monday, April 27 after police were notified of the possible discovery of a body by a passerby in the area of Arundel Street near Lyon Boulevard.

Kayleigh was later identified as the victim.

Members of the service’s Criminal Investigation Branch, including investigators from the Major Crimes and Forensic Identification Units, have been investigating the circumstances surrounding this death. Police are treating this as a homicide investigation.

Police continue to hold a scene as the investigation continues. A post-mortem is being scheduled to take place in Toronto.
