Total Confirmed Cases in Thunder Bay District Now at 55

THUNDER BAY – The Thunder Bay District Health Unit reports there are now positive confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the district.

This brings the total number of cases in the district to 55.

Symptoms of COVID-19

COVID-19 symptoms can be mild to severe. Individuals with ANY of the symptoms listed below are encouraged to contact the TBDHU at (807) 625-5900 or 1-888-294-6630 and they will be considered for testing. TBDHU staff will assign you into the earliest available appointment and staff will provide you with further guidance.

Testing as part of this targeted surveillance is for anyone who has ANY of the following symptoms:

  • fever
  • cough
  • difficulty breathing
  • fatigue
  • muscles aches
  • loss of appetite
  • sore throat/hoarse voice
  • runny nose
  • loss of taste and smell
