Environment Canada has issued Extreme Cold Warnings, along with Snow Squall alerts for a number of communities across the region.
Extreme Cold Warning in effect for:

- Fort Severn – Washaho Cree Nation
- Pickle Lake – Cat Lake

- Fort Hope – Neskantaga – Marten Falls/Ogoki Post
- Peawanuck
Dangerous wind chill values near minus 45 are expected tonight and may occur again Wednesday night.
