Strathcona County, AB. – On Feb. 8, 2020, at approximately 9:00 pm MST, Strathcona County RCMP responded to a report of a male being located with serious life-threatening injuries near Township Road 534 and Range Road 225.

The male was taken to the hospital and pronounced deceased a short time later. An autopsy was conducted today at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Edmonton and the manner of death has been deemed a homicide.

The deceased male has been identified as Blair Joshua Cross (35) of Edmonton. RCMP would like to speak with anyone that may have been in contact with Blair or seen him in the Edmonton area in the days leading up to his death.

Blair is described as:

–       Indigenous male

–    5’7″

–    140 lbs

–    Black hair, brown eyes
