THUNDER BAY – Mush! The sounds of sled dogs will echo through Marina Park on Sunday, January 26, 2020. Boreal Journeys Sled Dog Kennel returns to Winter FunDays for another afternoon of fun! Join them for a scenic dogsled ride along the shores of Lake Superior. While waiting, families will be able to meet the sled dogs, learn about the history of dog sledding and how it is still used as a mode of transportation today. Note that this is an extended activity running from 12 pm to 4 pm. Rides will be offered at Prince Arthur’s Landing – Spirit Garden. Please note, rides are for children only, aged 14 and under.

Don’t forget to also visit Mariner’s Hall to warm up with a craft activity with the Community Arts & Heritage Education Project (CAHEP) from 2 pm to 4 pm. This week, you can make a collage of various City Sports accomplishments and create your own hybrid Pokémon characters.

Winter FunDays run every Sunday until March 8 with a different free winter activity every week.
