THUNDER BAY – NEWS – Former Thunder Bay councillor Larry Hebert remains in custody at the Thunder Bay District Jail. Hebert’s next bail hearing has been scheduled for Monday, January 27, 2020. Hebert has been remanded in custody since November facing charges of attempted murder.
Larry Hebert appeared in court in person today where his lawyer told the court that they should have a workable plan for bail prepared. Hebert has been having difficulty finding a surety apparently.
Hebert who is 72-yeara-old was arrested following what the Thunder Bay Police Service called a “Serious Incident” last November.
Hebert was later charged with attempted murder. There is a publication ban in effect in this matter covering details of the case.

THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Police responded to what they stated on Thursday was a serious incident on Vickers Street. As a result of their continuing investigation, former Thunder Bay City Counclllor Larry Hebert has been arrested and charged with attempted murder.
Hebert was arrested and charged with the offense and appeared in court this morning and has been remanded in custody at the Thunder Bay District Jail.
Thunder Bay Police have stated they will be updating this incident.
None of the charges have been proven in court.
