THUNDER BAY – SPORTS – There is a huge story in the sport of Strongman today coming out of California. Thunder Bay resident Maxime Boudreault placed third in the Arnold Pro Strongman USA in Santa Monica California.
Boudreault won three of the five events in a field of 13 of the best strength athletes in the world.
The Arnold Strongman USA Championship is part of the Arnold Pro Strongman World Series, with the winner of the event earning a spot in the prestigious Arnold Strongman Classic at the 2020 Arnold Sports Festival in Columbus, Ohio.
Maxime Boudreault placed a very close third behind current World’s Strongest Man Martin Licis, and four-time World’s Strongest Man Brian Shawn.
Maxime Boudreault also placed ahead of eight-time Canada’s Strongest Man Jean-Francois Caron who is ranked as the 4th Strongest Man in the World).
