Winnipeg – Third Homicide of 2020 Under Investigation

WINNIPEG – NEWS – Winnipeg Police Homicide Unit officers are investigating a suspicious death that happened on January 14, 2020.

Winnipeg Police say that on January 14, 2020, at approximately 11:45 am, Winnipeg Police responded to a report of an insecure premise at a residence located at 516 Alexander Avenue.

Responding officers located a deceased adult male within the home. The circumstances surrounding the male’s death are suspicious and the Winnipeg Police Service Homicide Unit is now investigating.

Update: Homicide investigators have identified the deceased as Greg Joseph Jr DUMAS, 33 years. His death has been determined to be a homicide.

This investigation is continuing by members of the Homicide Unit. Investigators want to speak with anyone who had contact with Greg in the weeks prior to his death or anyone with knowledge of Greg’s whereabouts during the last several weeks.
