THUNDER BAY – The Extreme Cold weather is starting to enter Northern Ontario. Environment Canada has issued extreme cold warnings for the Far North.
Extreme Cold Warning in effect for:
- Fort Severn
- Peawanuck
Extreme cold wind chills of minus 45 tonight.
Bitterly cold wind chills of minus 45 or below are forecast to develop tonight and then persist into Thursday morning. While temperatures and wind chills will moderate during the day Thursday, extremely cold wind chills near or below minus 45 are anticipated again Thursday night.
