Monday Trash Collection Cancelled due to Snow Event

THUNDER BAY – Did you drag your garbage out to the curb last night? Might as well go drag it back. The City has announced that Monday’s collection is cancelled due to the snow event.

A release from the COTB states: “Due to the winter storm event, curbside garbage and recycling collection is cancelled for today and tomorrow.

“Residents who were to receive garbage and recycling collection today (Monday, Dec. 30), are to place their garbage and recycling out for collection this upcoming Saturday, Jan. 4, for pick up.

“Residents who were to receive garbage and recycling collection tomorrow (Tuesday, Dec. 31), are to place their garbage and recycling out for collection this upcoming Sunday, Jan. 5, for pick up.

“All other collection dates remain unchanged.”
