Weather – More Snow Headed to Thunder Bay

THUNDER BAY – WEATHER – More snow is coming to Thunder Bay. Environment Canada says that for tonight there will be local blowing snow starting this afternoon. Total snowfall amounts of 5 to 10 cm will fall before the snow ends.

The weather service says that winds will be northeast 30 km/h gusting to 50.

There have not been any winter weather or storm warnings issued for this forecasted snow event by Environment Canada.

Major Winter Storm Headed to Minnesota

If you are planning a trip south to Minnesota for the American Thanksgiving, the weather service is calling for a major winter storm.

  • Winter storm will bring heavy snow and strong winds to northwest Wisconsin and parts of northeast Minnesota late tonight into Wednesday, with difficult to nearly impossible travel conditions Wednesday morning in northwest Wisconsin
  • Strong winds and large waves will lead to lakeshore flooding along the south shore
