Police Update on Homicide Investigation into Death of Nazareth Kwandibens

THUNDER BAY – The investigation into the homicide of Nazareth Andrew KWANDIBENS is continuing.

KWANDIBENS was murdered at a residence in the 300 block of Arundel Street. Police responded to calls of a deceased body on November 13, 2019 just after 2:00 PM EST. The scene was held by investigators until November 17th after the post-mortem examination was completed on November 16, 2019.

Investigators with the service’s Major Crimes Unit are examining evidence of this ongoing homicide investigation.

Police announced the arrest of Johnathon Mark MCKAY, 40, of Thunder Bay, on Thursday, Nov. 14. He was subsequently charged with Second-Degree Murder in connection with the death of KWANDIBENS.
