THUNDER BAY –Thunder Bay Fire Rescue responded to a call at a residential address on Burriss Street. The call came in just after midnight at approximately 00:30 November 16, 2019.

Thunder Bay Fire Rescue reports the blaze was a shed fire.

Three Pumper units arrived simultaneously and were able to quickly bring the fire under control. However, not before the fire had caused damage to a nearby boat and home.

As smoke was observed from several blocks away so a second alarm was initiated. In total five Pumper trucks and one Aerial Ladder were responded to this Fire. The cause is unknown and under investigation.
