MUMBAI – ENTERTAINMENT – India will host the finale to the world’s biggest breakdancing competition, the Red Bull BC One World Final, for the first time on November 9, 2019. This year, the 16th edition of the event, the world final will converge on Mumbai, which has seen a huge growth in interest in hip hop music and a burgeoning breaking scene. The country’s own talents are expected to be in the mix for BC One.

The first Red Bull BC One World Final was held in Biel, Switzerland, back in 2004 and host cities for the season’s climax since have included Berlin, Paris, New York, Tokyo, Moscow, and Rio de Janeiro among others.

BC One competitions will again take place all over the globe for the best B-boys and B-girls in the lead-up to the November finale. A host of national competitions – or cyphers – will produce a litany of winners to showcase their talents in Mumbai.

For those unable to travel to Mumbai for the world final, all the best action will be played out live on Red Bull channels come November 9.
